Dreamwidth Stuff
What do you post about? My less than exciting life and work (friends access only), fandom things including fics (I am chronically multifandom), random things like music, memes occasionally etc.
How often do you post? Varies. This July I'll be posting every day in an effort to not just drown in work. Normally I post about 3-10 times a month maybe, depends on work and energy
What communities, if any, are you involved in? I've been around some and ran some. The one that's current and active as in open to posting is

tar_valon for Wheel of Time
What kind of accounts do you like to follow? Diverse! Beyond the usual caveats of no rightwing politics, associated discriminatory asshattery or climate change denial, I am pretty open to getting to know different types of people with different lives and interests.

Fandom Stuff
Fandoms: All of them? I don't really abandon fandoms, just get new ones that I become more active in but the old ones will always crop back up eventually. I am currently probably mostly active in various K-pop fandoms: Stray Kids, Seventeen, Ateez, BTS, TXT... Other 'big names' are things like Supernatural, Bandom, Grimm, Lewis, Stargate Atlantis, Guardian... But honestly, I've written fic in what must be about 100 fandoms now (quickest way to browse is via

MistressKat) and I read way more diversely than I write.
Favorite Characters: Haha no, I cannot start listing them here. I've got a strong leader bias in all K-pop groups though, I'll say that much.
Ships: Yeah, as above. But worth mentioning that I have both incest ships and I write RPF so if those are hard limits for you to the degree you'll never want to see them in your circle then I'm not the person to add.
Things you're into but not fannish about: … like hobbies?? Or media that I like but don't get fannish about? If former then I also write poetry and original fic, swim, enjoy cooking and dyeing my hair silly colours. If latter then I'm not sure I understand the question... :D The continuum is very long you see and just because I enjoyed a piece of canon and never wrote fic about it, doesn't me that I suddenly won't ten years later.

You sound like a really interesting person, just based on your intro post I would love to get to know you. I'm 37, live in Germany with my cat and love cooking as well. Oooh, a fun little treasure trove here! My experience is definitely limited, but my impression is that this group is thematically a lot darker than most K-Pop I've seen before? Very possible my perception is off due to limited exposure, but was fun to see regardless.

Definitely had a 'omg who is THAT??' in that first song around the 1:20 mark with that deep DEEP voice there. And so pretty!! All of them are!

Definitely had a 'omg who is THAT??' in that first song around the 1:20 mark with that deep DEEP voice there. - And that is what's called the 'Felix effect' 😂😂😂 He is almost invariably the one that catches everyone's attention first with the contradiction of the voice of a devil/looks of an angel. That is Lee Felix, one of the two Aussie members, third youngest of the group.

'K-pop' tends to be used as a catch-all category that actually encompasses way more range than just 'pop' genre wise. But yes, they do have a darker edge than some groups, but almost all the ones I like tend to experiment across genres a lot.
