Explain your username: I am so glad to have an excuse to explain! When I was a teenager, I read a book called The Legend of Holly Claus. It's about Santa Claus's daughter going to work in a toy shop in New York City, where, naturally, she falls in love. It's surprisingly good! A fairy named Emmalylis is mentioned on one page of that book and never again. It's a great name, and it was still stuck in my head the next time I needed a username. I was Emmalylis everywhere for a good while, long enough that internet friends started calling me Em for short.
When I started wanting to post in kink memes and the like, the Emmalylis AO3 account had amassed a modestly large number of subscribers, including some younger teenagers who'd spoken to me on discord servers and were following the account for children's cartoon fics. I didn't want to worry about those eyeballs on my porn, so I made an alt. 'gremdark' is like 'grimdark' but with my fandom name in it. It started as my alt for porn, dark content, and other things I didn't want to worry about a bunch of young teenage followers seeing me post. But it turns out that posting without worrying about it is way more fun, so it's now effectively my main.
Favorite season (it's ok if it's not summer): Early spring, when the wind stirs up the trees in a certain way that makes it feel like the start of an adventure in a book.
What's your vibe? I still feel like a baby adult, but I'm doing my best to be a good one.
What is your summeriest fandom? (You can interpret this however you like….): Merlin feels very summery to me. They're always wandering through sunny, green woodlands.

Explain your username: back in the Olden Days (early 1980s) when I got engaged, I would moan (occasionally) about the difficulties of househunting and declaim I want a Nest! A colleague gave me a card with a picture of an eagle in a T-shirt on which he had written my fiancé's initials, and a chick in a nest on which he had written 'Pen's Nest'. I have lived in Nests ever since. I didn't have the chance to take Pensnest as a username for more than a decade, not until Compuserve let me have a name instead of a number, but it has been my internet name ever since. Though in my early fanfiction.net days my pen name was Eve Robinson.
Favorite season (it's ok if it's not summer): Spring. Watching the snowdrops, the snowflakes, daffodils and crocuses, hyacinths, bluebells and lilacs follow one another across my garden is wonderful. Watching the trees go from stark to bud-laced to full leaf is wonderful. Also, magnolias. Autumn is a close second, my kind of colours.

Explain your username: Okay, so YEARS AGO I was going to start playing Final Fantasy XI, which is an MMORPG, but I am Shy with a Capital S, so I knew I would be soloing a lot. Therefore, I picked Red Mage as my starting job. Red Mage can dish out damage, both from melee attacks with swords and from black magic, but can also heal with white magic. I needed a name for my character, and thus I searched baby name sites. "Althea" means "healer", and some site I found in the past but can't find again said that "Valara" meant "fierce one"... so hence, Althea Valara, a perfect Red Mage name. I love the name and am very comfortable using it as my own.
Favorite season (it's ok if it's not summer): Autumn. I was born in the fall, and I love the cooler weather and the crunch of dead leaves under your feet. Plus it's PUMPKIN SEASON! I love all things Pumpkin.
What's your vibe? Well, I suffer from anxiety a lot so I could say "anxious", but I'll go with the vibe of my Twitch streams, which are chill, passionate about the games, and have a splash of silliness.
