What is your summeriest fandom? (You can interpret this however you like….): Venom & Eddie are fun to put in summer settings. BTS has plenty of summer photo shoots and summer songs. Of course, many murders can happen in summer so all my detective fandoms come into play.

I used to be part of The Old Guard fandom. That's a mood, lmao.

We have a fair few fandoms in common! Sherlock Holmes, Jeeves&Wooster, Christie and other mysteries (and TOG, of course, though I'm not really active in that anymore). Would love to add you!

Ha, ha. Yeah, I mainly liked Nicky/Joe. And I read all these books on Islamic art and Genovese cooking to write fics and then the sequel never happened so I lost interest. The fandom itself was a little wanky. Nothing like the Sherlock fandom of course which is Superwholock levels of wankiness, but still, I lost interest after a while.

AND I also like a good polar expedition story! Mainly mainstream nonfiction (usually in audiobook form). There's something about the goal + the dangers which appeals. I have always imagined Holmes tagged along on something during the Hiatus.

Omg you did proper research huh! The fandom got sooo wanky, that's why I left. I was never in the Sherlock fandom (the show wasn't totally my thing) but I can easily believe that was worse!! Lol did you see that the TOG sequel finally did drop on Netflix 2 weeks ago? It was... underwhelming.

And yes, same, it's so morbidly fun to read about incredibly dangerous enterprises like that. I could easily see Holmes doing some exploring while he was living under a million aliases!

NO! Wow! The sequel happened! I don't think I want to watch it. I watched 4 minutes of Nicky/Joe highlights and I don't think I want more. Damn. They had such good chemistry in the first one.

They really did! I thought those two were still quite good in the sequel--their scenes were a little sillier but the actors are such good friends, and I enjoyed that they got to have even more lines in Italian this time around. But overall, yeah, you're honestly not missing much. The storyline was a mess. Van Veronica Ngo was really good. That's about it. :'D
