What do you post about? Nerdy trouvailles, idle musings, rabid music, micro adventures, the inane stuff animals get up to, my thoughts as a crotchety far left anticapitalist flaneur, smatterings of unaesthetic travel pics, historical anecdotes, plus the occasional squeeing. I want to squee again, dammit, squee! I miss it! Oh, also fanfic.
How often do you post? In spurts. If the world gets me down too much I can be silent for weeks, but I mean nothing by it. My original Livejournal account was created 20 years ago, I migrated to Dreamwidth in 2009. So, I'm here, and here I'll stay!
What communities, if any, are you involved in? Mostly fic and challenge comms, like fffc and fandom_empire. I wish historium were more active!
What kind of accounts do you like to follow? My only rule is: no drama. Historical nerdiness and a taste for extreme music (drone, doom, sludge, black metal) are a bonus but not a prerequisite. If you ooze a black sense of humor I'll naturally gravitate towards you. I'm not good around people who are mainly consumers and whose souls are stuck in oral phase.

Fandom Stuff
Fandoms: These days I'm not as fannish as I used to be but my spouse swears my face lights up when Cesare Borgia or the Borgias in general are mentioned. (No, not the various TV shows.) Or anything Italian Renaissance. Or something something Albrecht Dürer. Big fan of the era 1450-1550 here! Other than that… old manga and anime that no-one reads anymore (Blade of the Immortal, that kind of thing?) Newer stuff? Blue Eye Samurai was gorgeous, wasn't it? And Barbarians II was fun. Eternally: I think Jesus and Lucifer are made for each other.
Favorite Characters: See above, kinda?
Ships: Cesare Borgia/Miquel de Corella is where it's at. I've been hewing away at them for the past 21 years, I can't help it. As for the rest - depends on whims, moods, and pervy penchants!

Explain your username: Liriaen was an elven toddler from an old, old story mine and around 2 yrs old when I lost sight of him, in his snaggle-toothed state.
Favorite season (it's ok if it's not summer): No, really, it IS summer. I have a bad case of seasonal affective disorder and am in a funk from September 'til March.
What's your vibe? Antifascist Partisan Black Metal, alternating with Renaissance tunes by Josquin Desprez. Stylewise: something between old Goth, old Punk, timeless Mod and Skater Rockabilly. Can't skate, though!
What is your summeriest fandom? (You can interpret this however you like….): Any tales with crickets or swallows in it - set in Italy, Rome, Japan, Germany in summer - that'll work. You have to feel the warmth and taste the salt. Mostly Borgia, I guess.
