I want to squee again, dammit, squee! I miss it! Oh, also fanfic.
How often do you post? In spurts. If the world gets me down too much I can be silent for weeks, but I mean nothing by it. My original Livejournal account was created 20 years ago, I migrated to Dreamwidth in 2009. So, I'm here, and here I'll stay!
What communities, if any, are you involved in? Mostly fic and challenge comms, like fffc and fandom_empire. I wish historium were more active!
What kind of accounts do you like to follow? My only rule is: no drama. Historical nerdiness and a taste for extreme music (drone, doom, sludge, black metal) are a bonus but not a prerequisite. If you ooze a black sense of humor I'll naturally gravitate towards you. I'm not good around people who are mainly consumers and whose souls are stuck in oral phase.

Fandoms: These days I'm not as fannish as I used to be but my spouse swears my face lights up when Cesare Borgia or the Borgias in general are mentioned. (No, not the various TV shows.) Or anything Italian Renaissance. Or something something Albrecht Dürer. Big fan of the era 1450-1550 here! Other than that… old manga and anime that no-one reads anymore (Blade of the Immortal, that kind of thing?) Newer stuff? Blue Eye Samurai was gorgeous, wasn't it? And Barbarians II was fun. How often do you post? I just came back from a long-ish hiatus and am now aiming at posting at least once a week (excluding the Reading Wednesday). I am also doing my best to read and comment at least once a week, too.
What communities, if any, are you involved in? "thestoryinside" which is a monthly book club where you're assigned a "buddy" and pick three books for them to read (and vice versa).
What kind of accounts do you like to follow? All kinds of them, except ones that are 100% fanfiction/fandom because I wouldn't be able to relate. Otherwise, I love reading a broad variety of things, love getting to know people from all walks of life.

Fandoms: None at the moment, at least not actively. Star Trek is my forever fandom, so that's the most likely one that I'll return to now and then. Historically my main fandoms have all been SF/F of some sort.
Favorite Characters: The entire crew of TNG. :)
Ships: I am a multishipper and will flit from one ship to another without rhyme or reason. If I find any two characters interesting, it's probable that I'll be interested in what they'd be like as a couple.

Fandoms: DC Comics (mostly Teen Titans/Deathstroke/Green Arrow and adjacent titles, especially the stuff published in the 80s/90s for reasons I can't explain) and a steady stream of animated shows (think Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and many others in that vein). Other intermittent interests have included Buffy, Doctor Who, OFMD, Star Wars (especially Mandalorian), Star Trek, Marvel, Murderbot, and a whole mess of other things.
Things you're into but not fannish about: Interpreting this as things I'm interested in that aren't fandoms per se... Books in general (I most often read nonfiction but LOVE magical realism. Will give most things a try if they come recommended), travel/languages/culture, dance, martial arts/combat sports, history. The interconnectedness of all things. Non-fandom interests and hobbies are a much bigger part of my life than fannish things, but all are good!

Somehow cornerofmadness was in my head, screaming loudly. I didn’t know why other than my own mental health issues. It eventually became my fandom name everywhere. Explain your username: I am so glad to have an excuse to explain! When I was a teenager, I read a book called The Legend of Holly Claus. It's about Santa Claus's daughter going to work in a toy shop in New York City, where, naturally, she falls in love. It's surprisingly good! A fairy named Emmalylis is mentioned on one page of that book and never again. It's a great name, and it was still stuck in my head the next time I needed a username. I was Emmalylis everywhere for a good while, long enough that internet friends started calling me Em for short.
When I started wanting to post in kink memes and the like, the Emmalylis AO3 account had amassed a modestly large number of subscribers, including some younger teenagers who'd spoken to me on discord servers and were following the account for children's cartoon fics. I didn't want to worry about those eyeballs on my porn, so I made an alt. 'gremdark' is like 'grimdark' but with my fandom name in it. It started as my alt for porn, dark content, and other things I didn't want to worry about a bunch of young teenage followers seeing me post. But it turns out that posting without worrying about it is way more fun, so it's now effectively my main.
Favorite season (it's ok if it's not summer): Early spring, when the wind stirs up the trees in a certain way that makes it feel like the start of an adventure in a book.
What's your vibe? I still feel like a baby adult, but I'm doing my best to be a good one.
What is your summeriest fandom? (You can interpret this however you like….): Merlin feels very summery to me. They're always wandering through sunny, green woodlands.
Opening song on your summer mixtape: Earlier this month I went through my Spotify likes and made a 26-song playlist with my favorite songs that start with each letter of the alphabet.
